About

FeedtheGulf was created to assist local food banks and shelters in having local organizations set up annual food delivery, food packing, and other essential needs.

Harry Chapin Food Bank

The largest hunger-relief network in Southwest Florida, serving Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties.

We rescue, inspect, transport and distribute donated food and other grocery products to more than 150 partner agencies and programs that provide direct services to those in need. They include food pantries, in-school pantries, mobile pantries, senior programs and disaster relief agencies. The food bank provides food for about 28,000 individuals each week.

Food and fund drives create an opportunity to work together toward a common worthy goal. Food drives can inform, encourage and involve all participants in understanding and addressing hunger issues in the community.

Guadalupe Social Services

Guadalupe Social Services aims to alleviate the suffering in Immokalee with compassion, integrity, and empathy. By empowering the people through assistance provided to them, the main goals are to ensure human dignity and enhance the quality of life for all individuals served. Guadalupe Social Services focuses on offering the basic needs of food, shelter, clothing, and household items, stability and education.

As a certified USDA food pantry location, Guadalupe Social Services has developed a list of staples for the migrant worker population. Approximately half of the food items for the pantry are supplied from the Harry Chapin Food Bank along with regular donations from churches, youth groups, civic and social organizations. Once a month, qualified individuals can receive a bag or two of food depending on the number of family members in their residence.

Grace Place

Food insecurity is a crisis for families all over the world, including families’ right here in Collier County. Hunger places unfair demands on parents, requiring them to make tough choices between food and other necessities. This can include the challenging decision to purchase inexpensive, but less nutritious food to stretch the household budget.

The Food Pantry supports Grace Place’s mission by meeting the basic need for nourishment and health, which are essential for strong mental and physical development.

Thanks to our supporters, we helped provide an incredible 395,000 plus pounds of food, including fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and dairy products, to people facing hunger in our community.
